A proposed prisoner swap to free Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan from Russian custody is making progress, the attorney of Viktor Bout — the convicted Russian arms dealer for whom the Americans could be traded — said on CNN Monday.The attorney, Steve Zissou, told CNN he is \"confident\" the swap will get done, based on information from \"the Russian side, as opposed to the American side.\" He would not elaborate on the details or progress of the proposed swap.Zissou said he is hopeful the Russians would make the trade solely for Bout.\"Look, it\'s no secret they\'ve been wanting him back for several years now.
